The Online Grant Writing course is provided by a Kansas State University Research and Extension Specialist with non-profit grant writing experience. The course is designed to help educators, local government and nonprofit volunteers and professionals learn:
- Sources of data for community needs
- Where to find grants
- Elements of a great grant proposal
- Practicing the grant elements: Problem, Outcome, Activity, Evaluation, Budget
Fifty percent of the participants have no experience writing grants, but even experienced grant writers report new confidence, new ideas and new clarity for their grant writing efforts.
