Grant writing is an essential part of a diversified revenue plan. Hundreds of millions of dollars are available for Kansas nonprofits, individuals and government entities from foundations and federal sources. The course concentrates on nonprofit and government funding; individuals and for-profit entities should find the same principles apply.     

You will learn:

  • Sources of data for community needs
  • Where to find grants
  • Elements of a great grant proposal
  • Practicing the grant elements: Problem, Outcome, Activity, Evaluation, Budget

PILOT 2 will be open January 1 – February 15, 2021, with two live synchronous Zoom sessions on January 14 and January 21 from 2-5 p.m.
